The Universal Hip Support Tray has been designed to support hip tiles along the hip line of the roof, without the need for mixing and carrying mortar to bed down the cut hip tiles.

This provides a neat and level hip line when fixing the dry hip ridge tiles into position. The Hip Support Tray is a Dry Fix Product, and provides a secure and discreet solution once installed, and does not detract from the aesthetics of the roof.

The Hip Support Tray is fitted above the Vent Roll when installing the Manthorpe Dry Hip System to provide a straight and level platform to support the tiles up the hip of the roof. This is particularly necessary when using profiled or deep flat tiles. The tray is 1100mm long and must overlap the tray below it on the hip by 100mm. The trays can easily be cut to length or shaped to the angles required at the eaves of the hip and ridge-hip junction by using a sharp utility knife. Simply fasten the Hip Support Tray to the previously installed hip battens using suitable stainless steel nails.
